If  back a ways

If back  a ways in that time that seems so long ago

Did you know that I loved you in ways

Ima not sure how to say anymore

In those days from long ago

If now was then and then  back then

I wonder if you would think of me in the way I think of you

I know it sounds silly to say

But this is now and no  longer yesterday

If I but could hold you  once again  in my arms, with us looking in to one another’s eye

Under that blue summer sky

On that day

I found then that  there was really no more to say

Back then  on that day

If but now as if it could be then

Would you kiss me   and love me?

Would  it be fun again

Would it be good or a sin

I don’t know , icant now say

But I do remember that day

So long ago

To some it may seem
