Here in my place so far from you
I sit thinking of what might be
That is about you and me
Crazy it may be but yet so true
But in writing as I do
Thinking of things and the way they are
In my mind and in my heart
You are never very far
The taste of your lips I wonder what they must be
In the day time or at night
Do you think of me
Am I wrong or am I right
I know what lays in that path I speak
But know I am strong when you are weak
But don’t let any tears fall from your eyes
I promise you I m not telling you any lies
In a world full of people we are alone just you and i
Can I hold you while waiting in line
Making you laugh and holding you when we cry
I don’t know about you but that would be so fine
Each and every day that I wake I think of you upon
And in my heart
Full of fear and doubt that I do not deny
But putting it down in words as I do
Not one word is a lie
Deep, compassionate....thoughtfulness in a raw form.
